The hop will be packed full of awesome inspiration using the products in this release! If you’re already in love with what you’ve seen you can head over to the !

I will have links for the individual products that I’ve used below!

Glittery ‘Waves’…

The new Wave Form Cover Die was just screaming out for some of the stunning new Glitter Cardstock Altenew released recently!

I used different shades of blue and some silver to give the general feel of waves washing upon the sea shore.

All that glitter needs something very neutral to tone it down, just a touch, so I used a mix of vellum and white cardstock for the sentiment.

This is from another of the new releases! It’s this fabulous two layer ‘you’ with a whole bunch of supporting & sub sentiments in the same sort of label style we have seen released previously.

I absolutely LOVE that die set, so I can see that this will be another firm favourite in my craft room!!! ?

Itty Bitty Flowers

These gorgeous, abstract flowers are so simple to put together, and because you can die cut all of the pieces for each colour at the same time, they’re a breeze to die cut too!!! I used two tones of blue, brushed metallic cardstock from my stash and cut the centres from warm grey.
I cut the stem/branch from some burgundy cardstock and also Neenah 80lb.

The easiest way to assemble these sorts of layered die cuts, is to add double sided adhesive to the back of your cardstock, before you die cut it; this just makes it so much quicker to put together.

For my background, I used the same warm grey cardstock, and cut it with the largest die from the new Mix & Match Frames die set. (This is such an AWESOME die set and I’ve used it so many times already!!! I also may, or may not* have sneaked it into my PAF Release card πŸ˜‰ Yup, I definitely did*.)

The sentiment is from the Seasonal Blooms CYL Project Kit die set.

Butterfly Centrepiece…

Another of my favourites from this release is the Bountiful Butterfly stencil & die set bundle; the stencil comes as two stencils that layer to create a background of fluttering Butterflies, and then a third stencil, which you can use to create one of three single Butterflies.

For my background, I die cut the String Panel cover die, twice from black cardstock and once from the same Burgundy I used in my Itty Bitty Flowers card.
I attached all of these together, but changed the orientation to give me strings that cross the panel at different places.

A quick diagram…

I positioned the panels, so that there was one positioned side A facing, with number 1 end at the top. Then I rotated the other so that the bottom (2) was now at the top, before flipping the other so that B side was facing up.

I made a quick diagram that I’m hoping shows what I mean! ?

I cut a panel of vellum using one of the Mix & Match Frames, then I used foam tape to attach my Butterfly in the upper centre and added glue behind this to attach it to the card panel.

For my sentiment, I used the You Matter die set to cut the second half but I used the ‘you’ die cut from the older All About You die set.

Textured Slimline…

The new Polka Dot Leaves die set is two dies which layer on top of each other, so I cut the top layer from Bristol Smooth, and the bottom layer from Neenah 110lb.

I grabbed a few of my Watercolour Brush Markers, in several shades of green & also the Metallic Silver, then I just added the different pigments and some water from a spray bottle to the Bristol Smooth die cut.
It’s not the prettiest of techniques whilst you’re doing it, but it really does look beautiful when it’s dry, and once it was glued it onto the Neenah die cut.

For an extra textured element, I ran a piece of Buff cardstock from my stash, through the new Connected 3d embossing folder and I attached it to a slimline panel of Neenah 80lb.
After cutting a 3.5 x 8.5 inch panel of Neenah 80lb, I added some splatters from the same green markers.

The sentiment is the Fancy Hugs die, white with a Buff offset and finished the design with a small string bow.
