Today we are celebrating the Autumn Impressions release from Trinity Stamps, with super fun video AND Instagram hops!!! I’m sharing an Autumnal Slimline card, with an awesome ink marbling on vellum technique!

Ink Marbling On Vellum

Vellum is non-porous, so you wouldn’t usually use dye inks on it; there is nowhere for the ink to soak into, meaning it will remain wet and smudge….NOT good! ?

Sometimes I like to take this ‘negative’ property of vellum and use it to create something that wouldn’t be possible otherwise! (I’m really hoping that makes sense? ?)

I added a mix of inks onto the stamp, knowing that these would look VERY harsh if stamped like that onto paper; but because the Vellum won’t ‘soak up’ the ink, it moves round on the surface and you get this AWESOME organic marbled effect.
I LOVE it!!! ?
