Hey Crafty People!
Today I’m super excited to be a part of a fun & inspirational collaboration hop between WOW Embossing Powder and Crafty Meraki!

Solid Panel Heat Embossing
- Using the Butterfly Garden Stencil, ink blend an ombre of beautiful Butterflies onto an a2 panel of WOW Ultra Smooth Superior Cardstock. (Bottom to top: Cranberry Fizz, Flame, Glitz.)
- Remove your stencil, and without adding anymore ink to your brushes, gently blend the same colours onto your whole panel. Set aside to dry.
- Apply WOW embossing ink over the whole panel and emboss in Frosted Glass embossing powder.
- Die cut several of the large Birthday dies from white & gold cardstock and layer them up, to show a small overlap of gold as a drop Shadow. Finish the sentiment with a stacked up ‘wishes’ from the same die set.
- Adhere the large sentiment with foam tape, and glue the smaller sub sentiment on top of this.
- Finish off the design with some Meraki Sparkle Rainbow Butterflies.
Tone-on-Tone Stamping & Blending
- Start by ink blending an a2 panel of Neenah 80lb with Catherine Pooler inks (Queen For A Day, Sangria & Pink Champagne). You don’t need to make the blending perfect because the stamping will help to hide any imperfections!) Set aside to dry
- Position the Fluttering Feathers Stamp & your panel into your MISTI (or similar) and ink up the bottom third with Queen For A Day. Stamp this onto your panel and then continue stamping the other 2/3 using the same ink order. This gives you a really fun, tone-on-tone look!
- TOP TIP! To get a crisp, stamped image be sure to let the ink blending dry completely before stamping over it.
- Foil some of the Sweet Sentiments Fab Foilers with Bright Silver Fab Foil and trim down into three strips. Pop these up onto your panel, purposely letting them sit wonky for a fun detail. (Try using 2-3 layers of scrap cardstock strips instead of Foam Adhesive for a cheaper way to pop up elements on your cards!)
- Embellish with Meraki Sparkle Butterflies.
