So back to this brand new release! I’m serving up some bold, bright colour that feels like the perfect Summer to Autumn transition, and that makes my Fall loving heart skip a beat!

I sized and positioned my images in Silhouette Studio, (if you aren’t sure how to work with digital stamps I have a video explaining the basics here.) Then I used the Trace tool to give me an outline of each flower, before offsetting it slightly to allow for a small white border around each of them.

Once I had printed that off, using the print & cut feature, I cut each flower out with my Cameo 4. Then I took a sheet of Buff cardstock and cut the same a2 panel with flower cutouts, however I used the negative of this cut.

I coloured my flowers using some Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens, just really simply mixing it up between yellow, orange & red to give me some variation.

I attached the flowers onto an a2 card base, using the white cardstock negative to help me get the placement right, before adding the buff cutout panel using foam tape to give me some dimension.

Oh! I almost forgot, I had been doing some ink blending for a different card and so I had a touch of orange ink on a blending brush that was still out on my desk (I’m a messy crafter ???? and I also have like 5 projects that I’m working on simultaneously …don’t judge me! ??) I gently swiped the brush over the edges of my buff panel and the inside edges of the flower cutouts, just to add a little interest, and then I really lightly swiped the edges of my sentiment. I really like the subtle warmth it brings to the white sentiment.

I added my sentiment, which I had also printed & cut along with my flowers, then a few clear embellishnents from Trinity Stamps.
