In my YT video, I wanted to highlight that Catherine Pooler’s inks have so many amazing properties (they’re seriously my new obsession, if you couldn’t tell already?!)

They are super juicy and take a little longer to dry, which makes them perfect for embossing with! You will have to work a little quicker than when using the Ultra Slow Drying ink pad from WOW, but there was plenty enough time for me to add the powders.

One of the most ‘you have to see it to believe it’ qualities of CP inks is their direct to paper transfer…IT.IS.NUTS.
I just gently swept the ink pad over the paper and you get a gloriously vibrant, solid swipe of pure yumminess! WHAT?!?!!?

I had some of the embossed strips leftover after I trimmed the edges, so I managed to make a second card with these; gotta love a twofer!

This time I added them to a mini slimline card size which measures 3.5 x 6 inches, but I still had them coming in from the top corner.

I stamped a really simple Happy Birthday sentiment straight onto the card base and I felt like it needed something more so I drew a line with a black fine liner which joined the embossed strips to the sentiment. (I just gotta root my design elements!)

(*I purchased my CP inks myself, they were not gifted to me and I am only singing their praises because I really do love them that much!)

I stamped a simple Birthday sentiment from the same Happy Birthday Many Ways stamp set I used for my mini slimline. I used Midnight to stamp it onto a sentiment strip which I adhered to the embossed & die cut panel.

I have this gorgeous CP sequins mix, full of gold, clear and holo bits, so I picked out some of the gold sewuins and added them around because I just felt like it needed some additional bling! hehe!

I popped up both panels onto an a2 card base made from 110lb Neenah using adhesive foam tape and called these cards done!
They were really simple to make, but that Disco Ball powder makes them look so incredible!!!
