Playing with Embossing | Colour & Texture | WOW Embossing Powder

Hey Crafty People!

This month’s challenge over at WOW Embossing Powder is Colours & Textures, so it is the perfect excuse to grab out my powders and play! (*Of course I’m only kidding, like I need an excuse?! ??)

I decided to mix up my own powder, using Clear to lighten the colour and Texture Changers to add, well, texture.

For some extra fun, I sprinkled some Ultra High Gold between two layers of this Tasha mix, to give some not so subtle pops of gold!

I turned the panel of custom embossing into a fun, abstract background for a gorgeous coral flower from Pinkfresh Studios’ Friendship Blooms stamp & Colouring Stencil Set. (This set was designed by my friend Apex Syberia and it is GORGEOUS!)

I coloured the flower & leaves using the matching layering stencils and embossed the stamped images in gold. I also embossed a sentiment from the same set, in gold on vellum.

For embellishments I used some clear drops from Trinity Stamps which I am loving using right now, especially for floral designs. They look like little dew drops and I’m really loving that look.

I originally thought that I would want both flowers, but I didn’t like how much that covered up the embossing, so I attached the extra flower and leaves onto an envelope and they look so good together!!! ?
