Hey Crafty People!
Today im sharing a card that I created with several gorgeous Alexandra Renke products, along with a dash of WOW magic sprinkled in!
I know that it seems that foiling is everywhere you look right now, and I am including my blog in that! ?? However, I completely understand that these techniques aren’t necessarily within one’s budget and/or space. So I thought I’d share a reminder of an easy, cold transfer foiling technique which gives amazing results!
Cold Transfer Foiling
- Cut down a piece of Alexandra Renke patterned 12×12 paper into an a2 panel. (4.25inx5.5in)
- Apply Transfer Gel Duo over the panel, through a decorative stencil using a Stencil Pal. Set aside to dry. (Make sure you clean the stencil immediately before the gel can start to dry.)
- Cut blossoms from Renke media cardstock and blend colour over the centres of each flower.
- Once the panel is dry the gel will go completely clear, if there is any white opacity remaining then it needs to dry for longer. Apply Fab Foil Silver onto the panel and run through your die cutting machine.
- Peel back the foil for that stunning reveal!
- Tear a strip of Vellum and scrunch it up to add texture, before adhering it across the panel. (Fold each end of the vellum over the panel and use double sided adhesive to adhere these parts to the back of the panel.)
- Using a mix of foam adhesive and liquid glue, create a larger floral by grouping together several of your Blossom die cuts.
- Add Fab Foil to one of the Fab Foiler Sweet Sentiments sheets, and run this through a laminator. Trim out your chosen sentiment and add to the florals.
- Embellish with Renke gems.
