Hey Crafty People!

I’m back with some more inspiration for your Monday; This week I’m creating a textured background using stitched debossing dies to create the look of a debossing cover plate. This is a really great way to add some subtle texture into the background of your CAS cards, but using the supplies that you already have.

Creating A Textured Background

Personally, I really love those debossing cover plate dies but they are an investment, so this is great when you are cutting back on your spending. I am also sharing a different way to use those larger layering stencil sets; die cutting out a portion is a great way to completely change the look of these products, further stretching your supplies – which is always a WIN!

There are so many different ways this techniques could be implemented, with any number of designs & styles! I’m super excited to make some Candy Canes ones now! ?
