Have you seen the gorgeous new floral dies from Spellbinders?!

1. Die cut the pieces required to make the Camellia flower from deep red cardstock.
2. Using darker red inks, add some subtle shading to the bases of the petals
3. With a ball tool and a foam pad, work the petals to soften the edges and add a curve.
4. Fold, crease and roll the petal edges using fine tweezers.
5. Glue the layers together to create your bloom.
6. Die cut the letters from your sentiment, stacking them 3 on top of each, then adhere to a vellum shadow.
7. Spritz shades of Shimmer Sprays onto an a2 panel of Distress Watercolour cardstock. Work in layers, drying each one before adding another. (The shades I used are Tea, and Patina of Heidi Swapp’s Colour Shine sprays but these are discontinued unfortunately.)
8. Adhere your flower over the ‘o’ and then attach the whole thing onto the centre of your panel.
9. Trim a sentiment strip from the new Quick Cards pack and add to the panel with foam adhesive.
10. Embellish with Opal gems.
