I’m super excited to be Guest Designing for the AMAZING Pinkfresh Studio New Release this month, and I gotta say; this release is absolute heaven for this flower loving heart. Oooof! It just speaks to me…and I am LOVING what it’s saying. ?
I was lucky enough to get the gorgeous Just A Hello stamp/die/stencil bundle, illustrated by the incredibly talented Emily Midgett. I created two cards from this bundle for the release, but I know I will create a whole heap more!
Another of the new release items that I received is the Anemone Magic Stencils that coordinate with the slightly older Anemone Magic stamp/die combo. I had all three of these coordinating items, and I made a card for the release with these as well. (*Again, I could make so many more, and I will, but I just ran out of time in the runup to the release.

Just A Hello | Mini Slimline
I stamped the floral images onto some Neenah 80lb cardstock using the Detail Black ink and left this to dry for a good couple of hours, before adding colour using the Layering Stencil set. This really is super easy to do; each stencil is numbered so that you know the order they’re intended to be used in so you just line each one up and add your colour…that simple!
I wanted to do a bit of a different colour scheme for this card and I simply adore these colours together, so I went for it! I absolutely LOVE how it turned out!!!
For the sentiments I also used Detail Black, and one of the most awesome things about Pinkfresh Studio is that they use a lot of single stamps/dies; so for this set all of the sentiments are on one stamp and then they are all cut out using a single die. That’s just so clever! And so darn efficient!!!
To make my Mini Slimline background I cut the Simply Diamonds cover panel die twice from some more Neenah 80lb, and I just added these one on top of each other in a way that I thought looked good, then trimmed off the excess from either side.
A liberal sprinkling of some GORGEOUS gems from Trinity Stamps and I was dine with this first card.
Just A Hello | Stretching Your Supplies
Although this set is designed as two separate florals, I decided to mix it up a little for my second card. This time, I pieced the two separate images together, to get a single large floral centrepiece. I did trim off the white border on the bottom edge of both pieces, to help conceal the join, and the rest is covered by this larger sentiment from the same set; having them all stamped and die cut at the same time meant it was easy to audition the various ones to see which worked best.
The other change to this one is that I stencilled the image without stamping it; this is just as easy because there are super handy marks to line up the corner of your a2 panel so that each stencil is in the perfect place. I went a little more traditional with the colours for this one though.
Once I had it stencilled and die cut, I decided I wanted to add just a touch of contrast, so I used a black fineliner to really quickly sketch the different parts of the images. I really like how it turned out and I think that’s just one more way that you can use these supplies differently!
For my background I cut the Radiating Cover Panel, to add some texture and interest, then mounted the whole thing onto some deep turquoise cardstock.
Anemone Magic | What if this was the background?
Again, I wanted to mix things up a bit, so I used the layering stencils to add greyscale florals to an a2 panel of Neenah 80lb that I could use as a background to some watercoloured Anemones.
I embossed the Anemone Magic stamp onto some Bristol Smooth cardstock, using WOW Rich Gold. Then I spritzed the whole image with clean, clear water and dropped in pigment from my Altenew brush markers. I just let the colours blend together naturally.
All of the images in the set stamp and die cut together, so once I had got them die cut, I added the smaller images into the packaging to use on another card.
I love adding the Ornate Frame to my bouquets, so I cut it from Gold Mirror cardstock and adhered it to my stencilled background. The Anemone Magic florals sit beautifully in their frame, popped up on foam adhesive for added dimension. Again, little jewels are a cardmaker’s best friend. ?
