Today, I’m sharing this card using heat embossing 2-ways on one of the watercolour backgrounds I made a few weeks ago.

1. Create an abstract, watercolour background using an a2 panel of Distress Watercolour cardstock and Lindy’s Magicals. Set aside to dry well. (Stormy Sky with Glitzy Gold.)
2. Apply WOW Embossing Ink through their Falling Hearts Stencil and add Paint Me Golden embossing powder. Heat set and repeat for a raised dimensional patterned background.
3. Die cut Catherine Pooler’s Love word die from white cardstock and stack for 3 layers to give it some stability.
4. Using a brayer, apply embossing ink all over the word die and add Polished Gold embossing powder. Again, repeat this step for thicker coverage.
5. Adhere onto a vellum shadow layer and then onto the card panel.
6. Add a pre-foiled & trimmed Sentiment strip from the Sweet Sentiments Fab Foilers pack. Use a strip of foam adhesive to adhere this over the word die.
