I’m super excited to be joining in with the team at Heffy Doodle for this fun collaboration with Alex Syberia Designs!

This is Day 1 of our collaboration, and we kicking things off with a hop over on Instagram, so be sure to head over there for the chance to win a prize from one these two amazing companies!

Sending Love, Just For You

1. I started with a background from my stash which was some quick watercolour stripes made with Lindy’s Magicals, then when dry, I covered it in WOW Embossing ink and embossed in Disco Ball glittery powder. (Also from WOW!)
2. Die cut your background panel using the Quilted Hearts background die (save the little hearts to use on another project!) Trim 1/8th inch off each side and adhere onto an a2 panel of white cardstock. Set aside.
3. Stamp a sentiment from For Her stamp set in embossing ink and add Polished Gold. Die cut and set aside.
4. Stamp & emboss the Gorgeous Peonies images, in that same Polished Gold powder onto white cardstock. (This set stamps as one whole piece and then you die cut with a single die too, which I LOVE!)
5. Die cut the Just For You Heffy Cuts from Plum Pudding cardstock and stack up two words for added dimension.
6. Using a mix of liquid adhesive, 1 layer of foam & 2 layers of foam, arrange your various pieces onto your background panel.

Hugs, Friend

1. Cut the Floral Lattice background die from Simply Teal-icious cardstock. Before taking the pieces out of the die, add some Press ‘n’ Seal to the back and then gently peel back the positive piece, leaving the little pieces in place. Set these aside, on the Press n Seal to use on another project. (We’ll come back to that shortly! ?)
2. Stack the Teal die cut panel on top of a white one for dimension, then adhere to an a2 panel of white cardstock.
3. Die cut the pieces from Leafy Laurel from white cardstock, and cardstock embossed with Polished Gold.
4. Stack two of the wreath on top of each other, then offset one piece onto another for extra dimension and a fuller wreath.
5. Stack the smaller pieces so that the foliage is white with an offset gold shadow and gold stacked on white for the florals & berries.
6. Stamp & emboss a main sentiment from the For Her set in Polished gold and die cut.
7. For a sub sentiment, use Expressing Gratitude stamp & die, again embossed in Polished Gold.
8. Adhere the flowers, leaves & berries around your wreath and add foam squares to the back, before popping onto your background panel.
9. Adhere the sentiments with two layers of foam tape where they will not be on top of the wreath to give extra dimension and support.
10. Embellish with sequins from Enchanted Moss.

1. Add a second piece of Press ‘n’ Seal onto the Lattice pieces from the previous card then gently peel back the first piece of Press ‘n’ Seal so that you are now holding them all from the front.
2. Add glue onto the back of each piece and then place down onto an a2 panel of Blueberry Bliss cardstock. Allow the glue to start drying and then gently peel back the Press ‘n’ Seal. Set aside.
3. Now there’s quite a bit of die cutting to do; 2x layers of Happy Birthday Jumbo Cuts from Simply Teal-icious, then both Shaker Tag die & the heart hole protector from white cardstock and the 2x pieces needed to create the bow from Blueberry Bliss
4. Assemble these and then adhere onto the background with foam adhesive.
5. Embellish with Spring Fling acrylic dots.
