I’m excited to be joining the rest of the WOW team in a super fun Inspiration Hop collaboration with Picket Fence Studios! This design is all about the Sparkles & Paper Glaze.

1. Trim a sheet of Distress watercolour cardstock in half to 8.5 X 5.5inch and then add blobs of two Paper Glazes across the sheet.
2. Using a Stencil Pal, swipe down from top to bottom to blend those colours. Turn your panel and repeat with the Glaze still on your Stencil Pal. Repeat this until the whole panel is covered in a marble of the two shades. Leave to dry.
3. Apply double sided adhesive to a panel of cardstock and die cut the detail layer of the Soar Butterfly die set, making sure to cut it so that the adhesive is on the top.
4. Remove the release paper, before applying Essential Sparkles Onyx over the entire thing. Burnish the Sparkles into the adhesive to be sure they aren’t going to move!
5. Once dry, die cut the base layer for the Butterfly and then adhere the sparkle layer on with strong liquid adhesive.
6. Next, ink blend a light layer of Crushed Violets CP ink onto an a2 panel of cardstock (starting with a pale purple cardstock will make the blending loads quicker & easier!)
7. Add the Twister stencil on top and blend the same purple ink through to give a subtle -on-tone interest to the background.
8. Create more drama by blending Juniper Most around the outside, drawing the colour in so that it blends off into the purple. Up that drama all the more by adding Hoodie grey ink round the very edges.
9. Gently tease the wings of your Butterfly up, and add one layer of foam adhesive in the middle but two layers on the wings. Adhere to the background.
10. Foil a sentiment from the Love & Hugs Fab Foiler pack in Bright Gold Fab Foil and then trim it out. Adhere onto the Butterfly with more foam tape.
11. Add a mix of colourful sequins to embellish.
