Hey Crafty People!
Today I’m sharing a project I created for the Alex Syberia July Release. This release is super exciting, because it includes Digital Cut Files too!
Keep your eyes peeled for an upcoming video tutorial showing how I used Alex’s Digi Cut Files along with gorgeous new embossing powders from WOW.
For the release hop I just HAD to use the Giraffe…He is SUPER cute and Giraffes are my favourite animal.
(Quick aside; when I was pregnant with my second child, we took a little family staycation and we went to a Zoo. When I saw the Giraffes I was so happy, but being quite heavily pregnant and somewhat emotional, I stood and sobbed. I think more than a few people thought I was insane, but I just really love Giraffes!! ?)

Hello, Giraffe ?
It really was fun colouring my Giraffe, and I decided to stick to a traditional colour scheme, despite the gorgeous heart glasses he’s wearing! ?
I used my Artist Markers for the brown patches and Copics for the rest. (Individual colours all listed and linked below.)
I fussy cut him out and added some black glaze pen to his eyes; I just feel like that gives just the right shine.
The sentiment is a die from Trinity Stamps and I cut it from some of their new Slimline Rainbow Brights paper pack, (which is AH-MAY-ZING btw!)
I added both pieces onto an a2 panel of Neenah 80lb and embellished with a sprinkle of red hearts, (also Trinity.)
