Blog Hop Project: Trying Atelier Inks As Watercolour

I wanted to give a true account of my first impressions, so I’ve got a video tutorial of how I made this card, along with my thoughts about these inks.

To finish this gorgeously, vibrant background, I die cut the large Hello from the last release and covered it in Graphite superfine glitter. Once this is burnished into the adhesive lined sentiment, it’s not going to go anywhere, which gives you a stunning sentiment with none of the annoying glitter fallout!

Instagram Hop: Ink Blended For a Softer Look

I wanted to show the huge difference in colour you can get when using these inks, and I think that these two cards really do that!

You can get the vibrant, in your face, full punch of colour but then here you can see a much softer side to them too; ya gotta love a product that pulls double duty!!!

I embossed the same, large floral image with white EP, then once this was cool, I added colour to each portion using my Blending Buddy brushes; the tapered end, and overall size of the Trinity brushes allowed me to aim my colour and I didn’t need to mask off anything. (a lazy girl’s dream! ?)
