Using The New Stencil Range | Instagram Hop
I created two cards for the Instagram hop which use two of the new line of stencils that we are offering, and I used a bunch of the other new products too!
Card 1 | Love, Confetti Hearts
I attached the Confetti Heart stencil to some black cardstock, making sure to cover up the open heart portion; then I used a small ink blending brush to add WOW Ultra Slow Drying ink to all of the Confetti openings.
I embossed this in Petaliscious, which is the gorgeous, pink Embossing Glitter from the new English Garden Trio.
TIP! Before you use a powder on darker cardstock, check whether it is opaque or translucent. Petaliscious Embossing Glitter is opaque, so I knew that I would get that vibrant, beautiful pink coming through, even over the dark cardstock.
After applying some anti static powder, I stamped the Love & Hugs sentiment from the new Love sentiments stamp and embossed this in White Superfine ep.
I added a cute little white acrylic heart, which is by Julie Hickey Designs and attached the panel to give a white offset border on the lower right hand side.
Card 2 | Hi, Floating Hearts
I had this oval die cut leftover from another project, so I added Ultra Slow Drying ink through the Lotsahearts Slimline Stencil, in the same way I did for the last card.
I added Pink Tutu embossing glitter to the top half of the oval, and Pinkish to the lower half, allowing the two to blend naturally into each other.
I die cut the sentiment 3 times out of some black cardstock using the Lowercase Tall Alphas dies from Altenew and stacked them up to give a bolder sentiment.
I replaced the little tiddle with a black acrylic heart from the same Julie Hickey set, and added the oval to a black a2 card base.
