Hey Crafty People!

I made these two foiled backgrounds last month and I finally finished them and got round to posting it, so here’s rainbow foiling TWO-ways!

Rainbow Foil

1. Foil the Dazzling Diamonds plate onto a piece of Black Glossy cardstock with the Thin Rainbow Glimmer foil. When you peel back that foil, so forget to savour the moment!!!
2. Trim down and add to an a2 Neenah 100lb card base.
3. Die cut the Stitched You die, 3 times from solid white cardstock, and stack these up with a white Glossy cardstock die cut on the top. Add these to a vellum shadow die cut.
4. Stack up two white cardstock die cuts and one glossy white for the various floral pieces that are part of the Stitched Hello set. (This makes them super strong and helps them to handle the thread a lot better.
5. Using Rainbow Metallic thread, stitch the pieces individually and then stitch the flowers and stems together.
6. Adhere the various pieces to the black rainbow panel, and add a simple foiled sub sentiment strip.

Flip It & Reverse It

1. Foil the same Dazzling Diamonds foil plate onto a sheet of Mirror Rainbow cardstock with Silver foil. Trim down slightly and adhere to an a2 white card base.
2. Die cut a sentiment from the same Stitched For You die set, again stacking up with a white glossy one on top.
3. Die cut several Butterflies from Vellum, white glossy cardstock and silver foiled cardstock. (Foiled using one of the solid plates.)
4. Assemble all of the pieces onto the rainbow panel and embellish with Essentials Gems.
