Hey Crafty People!
This fun, Rainbow shaker card makes good use of some packaging that I had lying around…Recycle & reuse! ?
- Stamp the large For You image in Midnight ink and set aside to dry.
- Once dry, ink blend a rainbow diagonally across, be sure to overlap where each colour meets the next to get the best blend! (I used Catherine Pooler inks because I just LOVE how vibrant they are! I have the exact colours linked below.)
- Fussy or die cut the image once dry, and set aside.
- To create the shaker element, repurpose an old packaging/cellophane bag. Slide an a2 panel into the bag, and fold & secure any excess with strong double sided adhesive. (The bag I used is a little frosted, and I really like how that ended up!)
- Fill the shaker panel with a mix of glitters/sparkles/sequins mixes, but make sure that whatever you put inside, the shaker can still lie completely flat.
- Seal the shaker by adding more double sided adhesive to close the opening, then folding & securing any excess to the back of the panel so that your pouch is fitted to the a2 panel.
- Adhere the rainbow critter crew using more of the double sided adhesive, along with a stamped sentiment (from the same set) trimmed into a strip.
