Hey Crafty People!

I’m super excited to be part of the Pinkfresh Studio September release and we are celebrating today with an IG hop! This release is full to the brim with stunning florals & alphabets, plus some pretty awesome new hot foil products. (I don’t have a hot foil machine so I won’t be sharing these products, but if you do have a machine then you will adore this release!)

Stunning Florals & Alphabets

I absolutely ADORE the Inna’s Alphabet product suite from this release!
As soon as I saw it, I just knew I had to bulk produce a whole bunch of different colour combinations; so I sat down, stuck on a True Crime podcast and got to stamping/ink blending/die cutting.

I made some in bright orange with purple flowers, some grey letters with blue flowers, some blue & red ones that I didn’t stamp an outline for and then some I embossed in Platinum onto a deep, maroon colour cardstock.

I even die cut additional, blank letters to stack up behind each set so that I got some really sturdy letters, almost like those thick, cardboard alpha stickers.

Once I had my alphas all good to go, I turned them into a bunch of different projects, to really show the versatility of this set.

Slimline Anniversary Card – Santorini

I created a quick ink blended background, using low tack tape to mask lines that I ink blended over; allowing a heavier layer on the masked line, fading away quickly. I chose blues and pale yellow/oranges to mimic the colours of a sandy beach with beautiful blue water & skies.
It’s an abstract representation of the kind of paradise that I associate Santorini as.

To seperate the letters from the background, I added them onto a strip of vellum that I tore both above & below for added texture & interest. A few jewels finished the design beautifully

Mini Slimline – New Home

After making the first card, I still had loads of letters left, so I created this new home card too.

I cut the three background layers with a stitched mini slimline nesting die set, placing a Kraft/buff coloured layer in between the two white layers.

For added interest, I added vellum leaves from the Curvy Leaves die set behind my letters and finished off the design with some blue jewels.

Monotone Floral Background with Focal Sentiment

I spelled out the word Mom with some of the grey & blue letters, adhering them onto a vellum oval which I have positioned inside a silver foil Ornate Frame die cut.
(For a bit of a change, I decided to use the frame in a landscape position and I really love how it came out!!!)

The sub sentiment is from an older stamp set that was released earlier in the year, Just A Hello. This is one of those fabulous sets with lots of sentiments that you stamp at the same time and a die that cuts them all at the same time…such a time saver!!! I just store these sentiments in a little pot on my peg board, and they come in really handy for times like this! ?

To create the background here, with Detail Black, I stamped the Dahlia Bunch stamp several times, positioning them to cover the entire a2 panel. This is a great way to make a quick background, and also a way of stretching your supplies to create more.

I added some crystal clear jewels to embellish the design.

Stunning Florals & Alphabets

I love how orange and purple look together; they just make each other pop even more, then against a white background they are just radiant. ?

I stamped the Blooming Branch image in Detail Black ink onto Neenah 80lb. Using the coordinating stencil set, I coloured the image really quickly and easily!!!
I wanted to add a touch of gold, so I used my embossing ink and Gold Metallic Sparkle embossing powder for the flower centres.

The coordinating die cuts the image beautifully, including cutting between the individual images, so it’s super easy to add it into a card or scrapbook design.

For a layered, yet tone on tone background I added Diamond Panel die cut onto another panel of Neenah 80lb, then layered my elements on top.
I used some torn vellum behind the letters to help them stand out more, and added a sub sentiment from my tub of Pinkfresh sentiments. (I add any extra sentiment bits into a tub, but I forgot to write on the back of this one so I can’t remember which set it’s from. ????)

A few orange & purple jewels scattered round finish the design beautifully.
I must admit, I do really love this. ??
