So, I was meant to be taking part in an Altenew Educator’s Video Hop today…but I got the theme ALL WRONG so I’m just going to share the card & video today anyway. ??????

Colouring Tips For Layered Diecuts

1. Die cut pieces for the layered cake from shades of blue & navy cardstock, the stand from white and golden embellishments.
2. Using coordinating Artists’ Markers, add some shade and detail to each piece. (Full steps in my video – but trust me it’s a lot easier than you’d think!!!)
3. Assemble the cake and stand then add white gel pen details.
4. Apply a strip of wide Washi onto an a2 panel of cream cardstock. Adhere the cake on top with foam adhesive.
5. Stack up 2x white and 1x gold sentiment die cuts and adhere onto the cake.
6. Embellish with numbers and stars from the Cake set!
