Today I’m making another Taylor Swift themed panel, using the Meet Me At Midnight card kit. Plus, I’m talking split colour stamping in my tutorial video.

I’ve used the technique to make a Reputation to Lover design, but you could use this technique with whatever supplies you have! Plus, you can use it to stamp in more than 2 colours too!

Ooooh! You and Me, We Got a Big reputation, Lover

1. Position your stamp into your MISTI (or similar, stamp positioning tool) and cover the Snake side with Heffy Memo Tape whilst you apply Pucker Up ink to the Butterfly wing. Remove the tape and using a blending brush, soften the edge of the ink. Stamp onto an a2 panel of Neenah Solar White.
2. Clean the remaining ink and cover the Butterfly wing side with Memo Tape. Ink up the Snake side with Versafine Onyx Black, remove the tape and soften the edge of the black ink too. Stamp this down to complete your image.
3. Place your Reputation sentiment in position and stamp this in Onyx Black.
4. Add a second, smaller butterfly in the same Pucker Up ink.
5. Die cut the ‘Lover’ die from thick white cardstock and the pink hologram specialist cardstock out of the kit. Adhere the pink onto the white, then add to your panel, under the Reputation.
6. Embellish with Butterfly gems.
7. Using a black Fineliner, add a comma after Reputation to join the two halves of your sentiment!
