You are seriously, literally, always AMAZING!

I don’t know who needs to hear that right now, but someone does, and it’s true!

I started by spraying some Heidi Swapp Colour Shine onto a piece of mixed media paper; this is more capable of handling water than normal card stock but it isn’t watercolour standard. Colour Shine are both intense colour and a shimmer, that leaves the same sort of effect as Perfect Pearls when in water. Unfortunately I believe the Colour Shine sprays have been discontinued.

Once this was dry, I placed the Square Dance stencil over the paper and ran this through my die cutting machine using the same sandwich that I would if I were planning on cutting something. This causes the stencil to press into the paper and leaves an embossed print of the stencil. It’s a lot more subtle than an embossing folder because it’s not being pressed into on bath sides, but it is a great way to add a bit of texture to your background and an extra technique you can use to stretch your supplies further.

I stamped the ‘seriously literally always’ from a Picket Fence sentiment stamp set which honestly, spoke to my very soul. As you may be able to tell I am somewhat prone to the odd dramatic exaggeration and this set seriously felt like it was literally made for me! Always.

I embossed that onto vellum and added a ‘you are’ and ‘amazing’ from my little tub of sentiments on my desk.

I popped the panel up on foam tape onto an A2 card base made from Neenah 110lb and I added a few black Nuvo Vintage drops, which are the matte version of their drops.
