Today we’re making 2-for-1 handmade cards, using a background that was a 2-for-1 itself…so is that like 2²?! (The background originally came from this post if you’re wondering!)

2-for-1 Handmade Cards

1. Choose your leftover background panel, cut the Heart Window die from it and keep both pieces to make your two cards.
2. Die cut & stack 2-3 layers of ‘love’ from Hero Arts Watercolour cardstock. Place this onto a small panel of the same, and cut a second, A2 panel from it also. Spritz over both panels with the Pink & Gold two tone spray. Set aside all 3 pieces to dry.
3. Adhere the ‘love’ die cut onto the heart, and pop both up onto the background panel. Stamp ‘you’ in Azalea ink and adhere beneath the ‘love’.
4. Attach an acetate panel behind the window of the second piece and trim down to A2. Blend Azalea ink around the edges of the panel.
5. Define the edges of the ‘love’ with a pencil to help it stand out.
6. Create the shaker well by adding foam adhesive around the window, making sure to seal it in completely. Add gems & pearls and whatever other shaker elements you want to use, then seal the shaker by adhering a piece of clear plastic packaging onto the back.
7. Use double side adhesive to attach this shaker onto your back panel. Finish with a second ”You”.
