I am never quite sure how we made it back round to here, so quickly, but it’s time For another Altenew: A Year in Review! This year we are having an Instagram hop with over $450 in prizes up for grabs, but I wanted to share my top 4 cards here, along with links to posts I originally made and supplies lists for each one.

Altenew: A Year in Review

As it turns out, all four of my choices for this year are fairly recent and I’m not sure if that means anything really, other than that I was feeling a lot more inspired around this time. It’s been a challenging year for one reason, or another, but as always, crafty therapy helps me through.

Altenew: Bloom with kindness

I loved a lot about this one; the soft ink blending, colour palette, black splatters, bold sentiment, added golden thread or really just a combination of all of the above!

Altenew: Billowing Flower

I had fun with one of Altenew’s BetterPress Plates and some watercolour painting for this one. Plus I shared my tips on covering up or better yet, disguising your ‘mistakes’.

Altenew: Quick & Easy Watercolour Style

The last card was pretty time consuming, so if you’re in need of something significantly quicker, may I suggest this faux watercolour, mixed media, smooshed design?!

Altenew: Festive Joy

I’m not sure, but this might just be my favourite Christmas card from this year, but either way it’s my favourite Altenew Christmas card of the season!
